Year 12 A & C Biological Model Research Activity

Filed under: Abnormality, Year 12 Homework — aprilgold @ 12:36 pm

Use the link on the Blog to Models of Abnormality. Work through each of the models looking at the activities and weblinks as you are prompted to. Produce a one sheet handout, or brief power point presentation, summarising each model. You need to include theory evidence and evaluation but not treatment. Bring your handout or presentation to your next lesson. I will choose the best example of each from your group and circulate it to everyone else. The winning person will win a small (edible) prize! So it’s worth doing well!

Filed under: Year 12 Homework — aprilgold @ 8:28 pm

Follow the link under abnormality to “Measuring the unmeasureable”.

You MUST complete sections 2 and 3, you COULD look at sections 1 and 2.

When you have completed the activities and read about the problems associated with deciding whether someone is abnormal, post a comment containing a symptom or behaviour that you think is definitely abnormal under any circumstances and explain why. Feel free to comment on each others posts – lets get a discussion going!
